Viswadeepthi Central School started functioning on 8th May 2002 and was blessed by His Grace Most Rev. Cyril Mar Baselios, the Metropolitan Archbishop of Thiruvananthapuram and the Patron of the School. This school is owned and managed by the Major Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram. Through its educational institutions, the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum has tried to reach out to all sections of the society, at the same time without compromising on quality, values and excellence. The educational programme of the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum is guided by principles and the universal values of the Gospel.
His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos, The Major Archbishop of Trivandrum, is the patron of the school. The school belongs to the Major Archdiocese of Trivandrum and functions under the Malankara Catholic Educational Society, which is a registered society for the unaided CBSE Schools. The syllabus followed in the school is that of the Central Board of Secondary Education in India.
